Social tennis for staff, pupils and OWs.

2pm - 4pm, Sunday 19th June 2011

Five KESW pupils and seven staff participated this year. The Old Wits were Will, standing in for his dad Keith, and Sally, who were responsible for the organisation. The American doubles format was used as it had worked well in 2010. There were six rounds of five games and every round was played with a different partner against a different opponent pair.

.

The number of games won by each participant was:

Pupils: Casandra 9, Julius 16, Anna 12, André 18, Robert 12.

Staff: Jim 24, James 13, Steve 13, Elaine 10, Lynsey 22, Sam 20, Keith / Will 11.

.

André and Jim were awarded a prize can of balls for being the highest game-scoring pupil and staff respectively.

A most welcome spread was shared (not the Pimms!) with a group of pupils who arrived too late to be involved in the tournament.
