King Edward's School Witley pupils Andrew Crossley and Matthew Vowles have been selected for the ISFA (Independent Schools FA) Under 18 Southern Squad. The squad was selected following trials at Charterhouse School.

Andrew and Matthew both joined King Edwards School in 2006 from Cranmore Prep School. They play for the King Edward's1st XI who are enjoying another excellent season. Andrew is a centre midfield player and Matthew is a goalkeeper. Mathew had never played as goalkeeper before joining King Edward's School, but has developed his goalkeeping and benefitted from specialist goalkeeping coaching that he has received from the school. Andrew, who also plays for Chertsey Town, scored a hatrick in a recent school match against Box Hill and impressed the selectors with his outstanding skills.

Both boys will represent the Southern Squad in a match against Essex County on Sunday 15th November at Brentwood School.

The school has developed numerous talented players and Andrew and Matthew have worked hard to improve their football since joining the school.
