On Saturday 10th May at 11.45am a memorial service was held for Barbara Swift, who died in July 2007. Following the service there was a lunch for everyone in the school dining room, which was greatly enjoyed. Many friends and colleagues were reunited after gaps of many years (and even decades in some cases).
Barbara taught at KES from 1954 until 1986 and was a formidable and well-respected schoolmistress. We all very much enjoyed celebrating the life and work of a dedicated and committed former member of our school community.
